In my search for a bike light, I was primarily concerned with the strength of the light. However, my girlfriend mentioned her friend's complaints about failed mounting systems and made me rethink my prior conern. In the end this light set fit the bill. If you are familiar with Cateye's mounting bracket from their bike CPU then this is no different it is one of the most secure and user friendly mounting systems out there.
Now onto the lights themselves, you need to ask yourself what kind of riding you will be doing. Night time commuting or trails. For your basic ride to the store and back this is perfect, for trails you will want something stronger. The light throw is strong and bright, but it is a beam and does not spread the spectrum of light very wide. An estimated diameter of the beam approximately 5-6 feet away is about 30 inches. Not bad but if you want to see more then that this is not for you. Otherwise, this is a solid performer with no complaints for the price.

This lights are excellent:
- brighter than other brands
- smaller than i thought
- the fixation system is safe and easy to install
- i have been using them for a month and the batery seems to last as they say
I use by bike (TREK 4300) for commuting in a city area.
I use the lights to make myself more visible.

used these lights a few times on my mtb during city rides with bad roads. while i remain nervous about these lights popping off the bike it still hasn't happened. it's been easy to set up on the bike, the clips r also easy to operate, sufficiently bright and i hope the battery life is good coz i've just started using these.
one serious downside was when i first got these lights i was unable to open it to see how to install the batteries. was afraid i might break the whole thing. of course, once i figured it out it turned out to be fairly simple to open and shut the lid on these.
what remains difficult is to actually see the battery itself. the fact that these light up means the batteries r installed but i continue to struggle in recognizing the battery itself..maybe that's just me.
so far so good with these i guess.

These lights are super bright (I use them for flash mode to be seen...and quite well!!!). They are quick to take off of the mounts (the mounts were super easy to put on as well) and click back on easily too. I def recommend these for someone who also rides in the city and wants to be seen by traffic, etc.
