I really like this product. Its a nice, basic heart monitor that tells you the time you have been running, your current heart rate, and the current time. While running, you simply hold the watch next to the chest strap and it will cycle thru these options slowly, and when it arrives at the display option you want, you pull your hand away back to the normal running position.
I feel this gives me ultimate control over my running workout. I can set a higher zone with this if I want to work myself harder, or set the zone low to relax a bit more.

I bought this device after finding that my Omron heart monitor was not compatible with a pacemaker. While Polar has a clear disclaimer about the risk of using a heart monitor with a pacemaker, I did the necessary checking with the manufacturer of my pacemaker and verified that the low power signal from the heart monitor should not interfere with my pacemaker. The Polar FS2C functions normally for me and I am completely satisfied with it.

If you are looking for a basic heart rate monitor, this is a good choice. Included coded chest transmitter is easy to wear and has good range. The wrist watch style monitor has a big, easy to read display and relatively straightforward one button operation. I also bought the Polar bicycle handlebar mount as I use my monitor mainly while bicycling.
